May. This year The School Photographer team will return on Friday, 24 May to take photographs of all
the sporting teams.
Please ensure that all students wear correct uniform for both of these days.
ANNUAL SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY
The annual cross country went very well yesterday. Thank you to all the parents who came and
volunteered to help and all the supporters who came, watched and cheered on the runners.
Thank you also to Miss Parish and Miss Kendall-Kelly for a well-organised day.
YEAR 6 FUNDRAISING – CAKE STALL
Thank you for supporting year 6 in their fundraising events. The students raised over $600. This will go
towards the farewell gift that year 6 students give to the school every year. A big thank you to all the year
6 families for suppling the cakes. This made the cake stall very successful.

Earn & Learn is on again. If you shop at Woolworths or a family member
shops at Woolworths, please ask them to collect the Earn and Learn
stickers. Pop them into the box at the front office and we will be able to

YEAR 4 PARENTS - YEAR 5 OPPORTUNITY CLASS PLACEMENT FOR 2020
Applications for opportunity class placement are considered mainly on the combined results of the Opportunity Class Placement Test and school assessments. The Opportunity Class Placement Test will be held on Wednesday 31 July 2019.
If you would like to have your child considered for Year 5 opportunity class entry in 2020, you need to apply soon. You will need to apply on the internet using a valid email address (not the student’s email address).

The application website will close on Friday 17 May 2019. You must apply by the due date.
There are no paper application forms. If you do not have internet access, you could apply at a public library. If you have a disability that prevents you from using a computer, you can contact the Team for assistance after 30 April 2019. You must submit only ONE application for each student.

HILLSBUS ROUTES
As the new Sydney Metro Norwest will open on 26th May, 2019, there will be some changes to
Hillsbus public routes.
Route M60 will be renumbered to 600. The services remain unchanged.
Route M61 will be renumbered to 610X. The services remain unchanged.
Route 604 will operate through Hills Showground Station.
New Route 617 operates between Adelphi St, Rouse Hill, Beaumont Hills and Kellyville
Station.
Route 619 will operate through Hills Showground Station.
Route 626 will not operate to James Henty Dr and Jenner Rd, and it will be extended to
Kellyville Station via Cherrybrook Station and Castle Hill.
Route 633 will operate via Victoria Rd and Castle Hill Rd to Cherrybrook Station and Castle
Hill Station. It will no longer operate via Thompsons Corner or Coonara Ave and Highs Rd.
Route 635 will operate via Coonara Ave to Cherrybrook Station and Anglican Retirement
Village to Castle Hill. It will no longer operate via Ellerslie Dr.
Route 714 will commence and terminate at Norwest Station.
Route T60 will operate through Norwest Station via Barina Downs Rd and Reston Grange.
