Did you know that St. Mark has more than
40 different ministries that serve our church
and the greater Southside community.
They wouldn’t be possible without the
hard work and dedication of our
parish volunteers, but we could always use
more hands to support those ministries. Join
ministry heads, volunteers, and the Stewardship Committee after each Mass on March 2-3 to learn more about the work
that St. Mark is doing. New opportunities to enjoy the community while generously sharing your gifts await!

In the summer of 2018 St. Mark updated it’s accounting software and parishioner database. Since that time the Parish Staff has been working hard to implement this new technology and increase the efficiency of the Parish Center. We are now ready to introduce MY OWN CHURCH parish wide so parishioners can Connect + Communicate + Serve one another in Christ. Registration in MY OWN CHURCH is optional. Refreshments will be available. Connect: Thru a secured mobile directory, parishioners can connect directly with other St. Mark parishioners. Upload your favorite family photo and you can get to know your fellow parishioners by name. You control what contact information is available. Communicate: Let’s you keep your family information accurate and up to date including addresses, phone numbers, and emails. We want to be able to communicate with you so you don’t miss out on any important event in the Parish. View current parish giving or print 2018 Giving History. Changing Lives Forever Program The Society of St Vincent de Paul offers a free program to individuals who want to
work toward having a better quality of life. Most people don’t choose to live in poverty but don’t have the tools or education to plan for a new tomorrow. Attendees of the Changing Lives Forever Program will be developing a plan with specific goals for a better future during the 18- week course. They work in groups of 14 and attend a three-hour session once a week. This year 10 parishes in Indianapolis will be hosting a Changing Lives Forever program which means 140 people will be developing specific plans to change their lives! Upon graduation, they are offered the opportunity to have a trained Mentor to help them with their plan. A Mentor can make a difference when change gets really hard—the difference between giving up or moving forward with hope and faith. We will be needing volunteers who would like to be a trained Mentor to someone who has graduated. Training involves (2) two-hour classes. Your commitment to the graduate is six hours per month (you set the times) for one year. For further information about being a Mentor in the Changing Lives Forever Program call either Joe Doll, 317-919-1419 (profjdoll@aol.com) or Domoni Rouse, Director of Changing Lives, 317-924-5769 Ext 219 (clf.domoni@gmail.com)
