SwampSoccerisfootballplayedonwet,marshypitchesanditisoneofthefastestgrowingsportsintheworld.OriginatinginFinlandadecadeago,theUKeventhasbecomethelocationfortheWorldCup.ThepopularityofSwampSoccerreflectsthedesirebyconsumerstotrysomethingcompletelydifferentandexhilarating.

IntheUKSwampSoccerisowned,managedanddeliveredbySwampSoccerUKLtd.Thecompanyhastrademark protection for thewords “SwampSoccer” and theSwampSoccer logo. Specific Targets for Year 5 are as follows:

• toenlist70participatingteams,with50%repeatbusinessfromprevioustournaments

• toattractanaudienceofupto5,000overthe2days

• tosecuretheinvolvementof10sponsors

• toachieveover£5millionworthofinternationalmediacoverage

• therulesaresimilartofootballwiththefollowingexceptions:thereisnooffsiderule;kick-offs,corners,throw-ins,free-kicks&penaltiesaretakenbydroppingtheballontoachosenfootusinghands;andallfree-kicksareindirect
