Screen reclaiming is the process of the removing the old emulsion from a screen to makeit ready to be used again.

Once it has been determined that you will no longer be using an image on the screen forany future printing, the screen should be “recycled”or “reclaimed.”

Removing the old stencil and emulsion and then de-greasing the screen are the essential elements of thereclamation process.
