Adding blogs, websites, YouTube etc to your LinkedIn profile

1) Go to www.linkedin.com and chose the ‘Edit Profile’ option

2) Click on the ‘Edit Contact Info’ tab

3) Click on the pen icon next to ‘Websites’

4) Instead of choosing ‘Company Website’, ‘Blog’ or one of the other predefined options, instead choose ‘Other:’

This way you can call the link something more descriptive/useful than it simply being labelled ‘Corporate Site’ e.g. you can write ‘Planon IWMS Software’ as the label for our corporate website (note you do not need to label the site this way, you can choose words that are relevant to your audience).

5) Add up to three websites using the ‘Other:’ option, and link to your local site, local language blog, our LinkedIn group; or a white paper, webinar or video you think will be of particular interest to your connections. Then click on the ‘Save’ button.

6) Click the ‘Done editing’ button to finish
