Gap In the Market Ability for brands, retailers, and celebrities to have direct engagement with their followers and/or customers.
Combining User Engagement and Gamification
People have tried to create exclusive hashtags on other popular photo sharing platforms, such as Instagram, but have been unsuccessful.
The Solution
The app will give users a new subject every 24 hours (popular subjects or current events to better pull in users when possible)
Allows target user engagement by allowing users to also create subjects and have their followers upload the content.
Organizes pictures based on subjects/topics
Closing the Gap What is happening now. How PicSubject changes things for
the better.
Everyday people and even celebrities, like Rihanna, try to start photo challenges, but their followers mainly just “like” and “comment” on the photos posted to start off the specific photo challenge/subject versus uploading content/photos to the photo challenge she is attempting to start.
1. Users can “like” a photo, but not comment.
2. There is a specific tab to view popular subjects (by regular and verified users).
3. Users have followers and subscribers. Their subscribers are sent a notification every time a new subject is started.
Daily subjects are easy to identify.
Each user/follower will be identified by a photo and name. By clicking on the user’s name, you will be taken to his/her profile where you can view the photos he/she has uploaded + his/her number of followers, following, subscribers, and subjects started.
By clicking on the arrow, users can easily find PicSubject’s current and past daily subjects, as well as view the photos uploaded that were associated with each subject.
Users can “Like” or “Favorite” a photo. Photos that are marked as “Favorite” will be kept in a “Favorites” photo so that the user can easily find and refer back to that photo.
Lists Popular subjects by regular and verified users (separately)
