Q2-Q3 Activities Report
11
• We have verbal approval from Wayne County to substitute for an Alternate 4 Cross-section on a Class B road
– Option 1: remove asphalt, repair base where needed and replace asphalt– Option 2: full depth removal in the bad areas only, seal cracks and repave
• While its too early to estimate the savings over the Edenderry option, County Officials have suggested (depending on which alternative is ultimately approved) it could be as high as 40%.
• We could fund this project ourselves, or through a SAD.
The Good News
12
• Check with Township on status of the water main project– Assess interest in obtaining water with Association Members
• Meet with Civil Engineer to finalize alternative road repair options
• Cost project
• Determine best funding option (will require a vote)
• Schedule Project
But there is still a lot of work to do
