The Security Fence

What Would You do?

• 898 killed,

• 6,002 injured,

• 19,590 attacks

• From 29 September 2000 through 24 November 2004

Arguments for the Fence

• Most of the terrorists come from the West Bank.

• The Palestinian leadership is doing nothing to stop the terrorists and even encourages them.

• There are no terrorist infiltrations from Gaza because a security fence already exists there.

Stopping Terror

•The route was determined by security needs, as well as the local topographical conditions.

•The route places a barrier in the path of terrorists, as the Palestinian leadership refuses to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure.

Israel’s Side• When private lands are used, they remain the property of the owners, who receive compensation for their use.

• The fence will go on public lands, wherever possible.

Humanitarian

•Dozens of crossing points have been set up to allow the free movement of people and goods.

Special gates will allow farmers to reach their fields.

•If there was no terrorism there would be no fence
