It’s okay… no need to fret! I am here to help

Course Description and General Information

Students with learning disabilities who struggle

I highly encourage the use of a planner!

I will be available to assist students with: assignments, projects, and/or tests.

Achieve 3000: an individualized, nonfiction reading and writing program that improves reading levels

Students are able to access a resource room outside of their scheduled resource hour (testing)

Overall goals of this class

Keep students organized

Assist them with task completion (homework, tests, re-takes, projects, etc.)

Provide them additional supports (including extra assistance, supplemental materials, study skills and re-teaching academic skills)

I am here to help your ‘minion’!

Classroom Expectations

Follow school wide expectations in the student handbook.

Be Respectful

Be Prompt

Be Prepared- students should bring everything they need to class everyday!

Behavior

1st Offense- Warning

2nd Offense- Teacher-Student Collaboration to discuss the problem and possible solutions & parent

notification.

3rd Offense- Sent to the office and a written referral

*Please note: depending on the violation, students may be automatically dismissed from the room and sent to the office.

Cell Phone Policy

While cell phones are allowed in my classroom, students are

not allowed to use them unless permission is given!

* If students are caught using them without permission, the cell phone will be sent to the

office for pick up at the end of the day.
