NCCCO RIGGER LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION PREPARATORY TRAINING  ‐ 16 Hours NCCCO Rigger Level 1 Cer fica on Preparatory Training prepares students for the successful comple on of Level 1 Rigger cer fica on tes ng. Students will par cipate in classroom instruc on and hands‐on workshops for: slings, rigging, hardware, sling tension, angles, center of gravity considera ons, sling protec on, knot tying and an overview of signal person responsibili es. A prac ce test is administered, with a discussion of test answers and a review of course materials. Upon comple on, students will be not only be prepared for third party tes ng, but more importantly, acquire the knowledge necessary for the competent performance of Level 1 Rigger du es. For NCCCO Rigger Level 1 and Rigger Level 2 Cer fica on Preparatory Training, the wri en exam is administered by NCCCO . Par cipants can also complete the wri en NCCCO test at an approved Computer Based, Tes ng (CBT) Center within 12 months. We administer the prac cal exams for Rigger Levels 1 and 2.   

NCCCO RIGGER LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATION PREPARATORY TRAINING ‐ 16 Hours NCCCO Rigger Level 2 Cer fica on Preparatory Training prepares students for the successful comple on of Level 2 Rigger cer fica on tes ng. Students will par cipate in extensive studies in sling hitch applica ons, calcula ons for off‐set centers of gravity and determina on of load weight distribu on. Addi onally, students will learn methods of determining sling tension, dri ing and rota ng suspended loads. A prac ce test is administered, with a discussion of test answers and a review of course materials.  Classroom and hands‐on workshops are u lized to prepare students for third party tes ng and acquiring the necessary knowledge for the competent performance of Level 2 Rigger du es. Candidates that are not Level 1 Cer fied can a end, but are not allowed to par cipate in Level 2 tes ng.
