Costumes0The costumes that are worn in the music video

revolve around the colour scheme of black, white and cream, therefore when creating out music video we have chosen these costumes in order to fit into the overall look of it – even if they aren't imitated perfectly, we still want the colour and look to be equivalent to the music videos.

This shot is showing all the costumes together – expressing the nude/black/white colour scheme that we hope to achieve in our music video imitation.

Robin Thicke (Zoe) and Pharrell (Lottie) Costumes

On the left is the costume that we have decided for out main persona of “Robin Thicke.” We are following the suit/sunglasses look as closely as we could in order to make the music video as believable as possible.

On the right is the costume we have decided for artist “Pharrell.” We’ve imitated the oversized jacket look and the matching pants, however the colouring isn’t precise.

T.I. (Faith) and Girl #1On the left is the costume we are going to use for “T.I.” and as you can see we are going to imitate the fancy blazer, sunglasses and white top look. The trousers and shoes aren't as smart in our remake however the look as a whole has been achieved.

On the right is the costume we are using for the first model who stars in the music video. She wears all white (as do all the other girls) but we have decided on all black (and all our cast follow this trend also), we have done this in hopes to imitate it but by not using the same colour we have managed to stick to the same scheme of the video.

Girl #2 (Shauna) and Girl #3 (Alyssa) Costumes

Above are the costumes for the rest of the models that star in the music video. We have followed the scheme of black rather than white as a contrast, however the consistency matches the original music video. The hairstyles have also been replicated.

Props0 The props that are used in the official music video start off with

a real life lamb, we will get our own stuffed animal and use this in the place of it.

0 The second prop we will need is a dog which is used in one of the shots – we will again find an imitation of a stuffed dog toy and use this.

0 Our third prop will be a cardboard box that we will use in the place of the foam dice that is held by Alyssa when walking around Pharrell (Lottie) and Robin Thicke (Zoe).

0 Our fourth prop will be a toy car, this is for the shot where it is places on Amy’s back. We will get a toy car.

0 Finally our last prop we will need will be an imitation for the ice-cream that Robin Thicke (Zoe) licks in our last shot, instead we will use a pen as getting an ice cream is unrealistic.

Props (1)We used a stuffed toy rather than a real lamb, this is for health and safety issues. They are the same colour though ours was smaller in size.

We again have used a stuffed toy in replacement to the real animal for health and safety issues, it is the same colour, animal and is a good match.

We used a cardboard box in replacement to a dice – same colour and shape, good match.

Props (2)We have used a toy car that is a different colour and model, however it is the same kind of thing therefore we think that this is a good match and it also shows what we want to achieve – which is a toy car on a girls back.

We have used a red Crayola pen rather than an ice-cream as working with ice-cream would involve keeping it at a certain temperature and rather than using that we could use something the same size that will show the overall gist of what we are trying to achieve. We chose a pen for this reason.

Location(s)0 The music video to “Blurred Lines” has been situated in one

place throughout the entire duration.0 The location is a simple white/cream background which means it

will be easy to imitate as we will use a simple whiteboard on a wall as our cover.

0 We will try to make it as simple and plain as possible to imitate the music video to the highest standard.

This long shot is again showing the plain floor and plain cream background of the music video – which is continued throughout.

This is the location we have chosen. The background is plain and throughout the music video we will not change it. This means it will correlate alongside the “Blurred Lines” video as they, too, have done this in theirs – therefore this music video will imitate it successfully.
