SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

Victims Victims are strongly encouraged to report sexually

abusive behaviors to the Office of Student Services Counseling Services, Campus Security or SAVE (Students Against A Violent Environment) as soon as possible after the incident.

Victims are encouraged to preserve evidence in case they would like to pursue charges at a later date.

Confidentiality will be protected and support for victims will be provided when not in conflict with overriding community interests.

with the utmost seriousness, and the victim will be referred to the appropriate support persons for assistance.

RA RESPONSIBILITY

DORM DAMAGES

If you find damage with no clear culprit (during the academic year): 1. Document the damage with pictures. 2. Look around and ask nearby residents in

order to gather further information. 3. Clean up any area of the mess you can, or

ask responsible residents to clean (if known). 4. Write an incident report including time and

exact location and any details that are not readily clear from the picture, and email both to your supervisor within 24 hours of discovery.

DORM DAMAGES

If you find people actively doing damage: 1. De-escalate the situation and stop the damage

process. Announce yourself as the RA/RA-on-duty. 2. Collect names and/or IDs/room numbers.

Gather any necessary information regarding damage.

3. Document damage with pictures. If possible, instruct residents to begin cleaning up the mess.

4. Write an incident report including time and exact location and any details you collected (refrain from opinion and bias), and email both to your supervisor within 24 hours of discovery.
