create many different Learning and Support tools for your students.

• Find something you like and stick with it

• You can modify as you go so take your time at the start.

Presenter
Presentation Notes
Quizzes are handy to have in your course. NetSpace (aka Canvas) will grade quizzes automatically, except for short answer and essay questions. This gives students instant feedback. The only caveat I have found is in how it handles partial credit. In MY world, if a question is choose 3 and a student selects 2 correct and 1 incorrect, I give them the 2 points. NetSpace will award 2 points for the correct responses but also subtract 1 point for incorrect response. This results in 1 of 3 points or 1/3 of how many points the question is worth.

In your course, use the modules to layout the flow of material. You can arrange by chapter or unit. In High School, by chapter works well, but in my college class, I use units or modules since each week I cover multiple chapters.
