Entering The Room
Enter the classroom quietlyGather required material
(binder, pen, paper)Sharpen pencilBegin “Quick Write”
Tardy
IF you arrive to class after the tardy bell, write the date, time and reason in TARDY REPORT
Do not disrupt class or go to the teacher
There will be time to discuss if needed later
Quick Write There will be directions on the board
for a Quick Write that is to be done in your notebook daily.
Write the date for every entry Proper sentence structure, grammar,
punctuation, and legible penmanship are required to received full credit (20 points daily)
Student is responsible for making up the daily Quick Write when absent.
Supplies 3 Ring (1 ½’’)Binder with pocket and brads Notebook paper
Post-It Notes Construction paper Markers Colored-pencils Glue sticks 2 Poster boards (White)
If unable to bring any of the above supplies, please speak with Mrs. Schultz.
Group Supply Buckets
Each group will have own bucket of supplies
Group is responsibly for keeping bucket stocked
Please Do Not take anything from bucket out of classroom!!
Do not use any other group’s bucket! If in need of supplies and cannot get
them, ask Mrs. Schultz’s
Turning in Work
Place assignments in appropriate class period file drawer located at the back of the room on table.
Please Do Not put your assignments that are to be turned in on my desk.
It is your responsibility.
Out of Seat/Restroom/Nurse
You will be assigned a seat in this class and MUST ASK PERMISSION to get out of your seat for any reason (unless an emergency)during class.
You must be in your assigned seat when the bell rings or you will be counted as tardy.
3 Minute Dismissal Check
1. Finish Exit Ticket 2.Return binder in the appropriate class
period cabinet 3. Clean area properly and help others
when finished Mrs. Schultz dismisses the class.
Exit TicketComplete Daily Reflection or
Exit Ticket Assignment This might be done in binder or
a separate sheet that will be given to you
ABSENT WORKStudents are responsible for
completing all missed assignments.Missed assignments are located in
the “Ketchup” Folder at the back of the room on table
Student has one day to complete the assignment that was missed from the previous day
Discipline Refocus Forms Discipline Policy:
REFOCUS and Responsibility Consequences deal with classroom behavior and expectations.
WARNING
Refocus #1 – Student completes refocus form and turns in.
Refocus #2 – Student completes refocus form and turns in. Parent will be contacted and 30 minute detention will be given.
Refocus #3 – Student completes refocus form and turns in. Parent will be contacted and 30 minute detention will be given.
Refocus #4 - Student completes form to turn in. A referral will be written and the parents will be called.
Note: If a student refuses to complete a Refocus form or argues with the teacher, then this is “willful defiance” and it results in an immediate referral.
