FortheDWMS2016event,planonarrivingbetween11:00and11:30attheExpoCenter.Therewillbeanorientationofthefloorandbackstage,includingdressingrooms,practicearea,bathroomsandGreenRoomwithavarietyofsandwichesandsnacksprovidedthroughouttheafternoon.Youmaybringyourcostumeswithyouandhangtheminthedressingrooms;youwillnotneedyourcostumesforrehearsal.Rehearsalbeginspromptlyatnoon.DougPughandMeganMurphyareemceesandtheywillrunthroughtheprogramfromstarttofinish.EachdancerwillperformintheorderthatKarenhasdetermined,witharun-throughofthepost-danceinterviewsandthejudgescommentsandscores.Thiswilltakeapproximately1½hours.Dancersmaychoosetostayafterwardtopracticeonthedancefloorandgothroughtheirroutineswiththeirinstructors,asavailable.PlanonreturningtotheExpoCenternolaterthan5:30pmwitheverythingyouwillneedfortheevening’sperformance.Ell&CoSalon&Spawillbeprovidinghairandmakeupfrom5:30–7:00;youneedtocontactWendyHowe(573-999-0200)tohaveaconsultationandscheduleyourappointmentinadvance.Youwillbeabletousethepracticearea,relaxandgetready.Theshowbeginspromptlyat7:00withintroductions,anoutlineoftheeveningandavideoaboutMCB.Thecompetitionbeginsatapproximately7:20pm.Thebackstageareaisoff-limitstonon-dancers.Onlyeventstaff,MCBvolunteersandcateringmayhaveaccess.Attheconclusionoftheevening’sperformance,familymembersmayjoinyoubackstage.Duringtheintermissionsyoumaychoosetogooutonthefloorandvisitwithyourguests,butmustreturnbackstageonceintermissionisover.TherewillbefoodandbeveragesintheGreenRoomduringandaftertheevent.Thereisanafter-partyatSophia’s.DancersandinstructorswillhaveVIPtagsgivingaccesstotheupstairsareawithfoodanddrinks.Yourfriendsandsupportersarewelcometocometotheafter-partywithacashbar.SHUTTLE:MO-XisprovidingshuttleservicefromSophia’stotheExpoCenterevery10minutesfrom5:30–6:50andreturningaftertheevent.Encourageyourgueststoutilizethisshuttleiftheyplanonattendingtheafter-party.TaxiTerrywillalsobeoperatingalatenight“taxi”serviceforthosewhoneedassistancegettinghome.
