SATIB had the privilege of breaking ground by providing cover for the Southern Africa tourism industry over 25 years ago. With the industry being so diverse, one size does not fit all. Needs vary greatly in terms of cover requirements and for this reason, SATIB have created five specialised units that focus on specific needs: Tourism & Leisure, Wildlife, Commercial & Industrial, Life & Investments and Domestic.

We realise the need for specialist attention and have taken the approach of developing skilled teams dedicated to each of our business units to ensure we retain the highest level of focus and expertise required by our clients particular business.

Inter Risk AngolaClient Service is at the heart of what we do:INTER RISK is a partnership of COSTA DUARTE and local professional partners. With a thorough knowledge of the Angolan insurance market, INTER RISK has acquired expertise in areas such as Transportation, Construction, Commodity Trading, Energy, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Tourism Resorts, Banking, Distribution, Communications and TV.

We combine local team knowledge with technical and consultancy support from the Outgoing Co-ordinating team of COSTA DUARTE in Lisbon. Both teams (in Lisbon and Luanda) work as one, combining fluidly local expertise and proximity with global knowledge and cooperation, as follows:

In partnership with our international partners, we provide the necessary support to our Clients by monitoring all aspects related to insurance, consultancy and brokerage, namely:

• Advice on risk management and the study, design, negotiation and management of insurance programs;

• Maximizing coverage and minimizing the restrictions and limitations of insurance; • Ensuring the competitiveness of the premiums charged; • Implementation of the best contract wordings; • Clarifying the scope and limitations of the proposed insurance conditions; • Checking whether Policies and Endorsements are properly issued; • Checking insurance premiums and controlling their settlement; • Preparation of Insurance Summaries and statistical data; • Assistance in the notification, negotiation and settlement of claims.
