LinkedIn

Is it just me,

or does it feel like

linkedin is rolling out

new features daily?

Or, are you actually thinking…

“Linkedwha?”

C’mon, if you’re a business owner or professional who

wants to build your fame factor,

you’ve got to give your LinkedIn profile

a little love now and then!

As THE professional network -

200 million active users and climbing!

- LinkedIn is only going to become an increasingly powerful tool for your fame campaign.

Here’s the latest way to pump up

your profile…

Add visuals!

That’s right, inspired by the runaway success of Pinterest and Instagram,

LinkedIn is getting more visual, too

You can now add photos…

…videos…

…and presentations to your profile.

This feature is available for profiles in English-speaking countries and it’s

Super easy! to put it into action.

Visual idea starters

Stumped for what to add?

Here are a few suggestions:

Articles you’ve published

Images of your irresistible free offer

Presentations you’ve given

Videos you’ve

recorded

Pictures of you, speaking at events

Screenshots of you being

mentioned in the media

Images of events (where you’ve spoken)

Tip sheets

Add a few cover images from

magazine profiles you’ve written!

and a couple videos from YouTube in another section.

You can add visuals to your Summary, Experience &

Education

sections of your profile

Click on the <Profile> menu,

then <Edit Profile>.

In the upper right corner of each of these sections, you’ll see a small

square with a plus sign.

Click on that and follow the prompts to upload an image or

presentation or add a link.

Don’t forget to add description for your image,

video or presentation!

Here, you can also include your website url or a link to download

the item you’ve got on display.

These aren’t clickable links,

so consider including a strong call to action!

Visitors to your profile can

‘Like’ or comment on your item,

just like on Facebook!
