note that he is on a first name basis with her.

Sommers contacts Charlie Sipkins , Managing Director at Sard Verbinnen and Co.,

a national crisis management firm in Los Angeles.

Sommers sends response to article to Charlie Sipkins , Sommers copies Galit Shokrian.

Sommers emails personnel at the Hall of Administration informing them that the response has been sent to LCCN.

Cheryl Burnett is Supervisor Knabe’s Press Secretary.Joel Bellman is Supervisor Yaroslavski’s Press Secretary.

Sommers informs Charlie Sipkins (Sard Verbinnenn & Co.)the response has been sent to LCCN.

Sipkens asks Sommers did you send to Rick Schroeder at KNX (News Radio)?

When asked about his relationship with SipkinsSommers would not answer and referred LCCN

to County Counsel.Sipkins would not go on the record about his

relationship with Sommers.

Sommers sends to CBS, LA Observed and City Maven blogs.The county has over 700 media contacts yet he

targeted those outlets only.He also tweeted to those blogs.

Sommers sends email calling LCCN story a joke.Five days later Sommers is working on the story with

Jack Dolan of the LA Times.

Sommers points out that LA Observed put the story online.Economy was not actively supporting James as Roderick

said on his blog, calling into question Roderick’s involvementwith Sommers and the discrediting process.

Sommers emails the response to Jack Dolan of the LA Times.

Sommers informs Dolan that Nordstrom called.

Dolan asks about LCCN.

Dolan contacts Sommers five days later asking about leases, those on the Nordstrom parcel that

LCCN pointed out in the article. No public records request was used.

Sommers tells Dolan he is working on getting the leasesand asks Dolan if he could give him a hint on what

he was “working” on.

Dolan tells Sommers he will talk to himafter he gets the leases.

Sommers asks for Dolan’s cell phone.

Dolan attempted to contact Santos Kreimann, failing to do so he asks Sommers to “help quickly”.

Santos Kreimann reviewed the Nordstrom leases, did not indicate anything was wrong other than Beckwith

represented Nordstrom not Schaff.Kreimann sent to Dolan and Sommers with copies to

Renkei and Matt Lait, Legal Counsel, LA Times.
