EARLY LITERACY PARTIES IN SPANISH PROGRAM:AN OUTREACH MODEL FOR THE LATINO COMMUNITIES

What are the Fiestas?

Early Literacy Workshops sponsored by the KCLS and conducted in Spanish for families with children age 0-5 years.

Families learn about how to prepare their

children for Kindergarten through a series of

8 weekly workshops.

Children are welcome and included in the program statistics.

Fiestas is sponsored in part by the King County

Library System Foundation.
