How do I get an interface connecting my records management system to KBI?

This will require your vendor to contact me for the documentation. KBI is currently working

with several vendors.

What is the benefit having the interface connection?

Submissions to KBI are automatically sent once a day based upon records updated in your records

management system.

I don’t currently have access to the KCJIS Web Portal. How do I get access to do dispositions?

The connection packet is available on the KHP CJIS Launch Pad at

The connection packet also has information on how to obtain an RSA token.

The TAC assigns permissions to data on the KCJIS web portal. If you only have one or two people at your agency you may want to ask your PD or SO if

they will act as your agency TAC.

The TAC will give you permission to be a “Criminal History Records Administrator” to have access to

the Disposition screens.
