University of Wyoming and Pforzheim University MBA students spend a week touring Switzerland-based companies as part of a collaborative ‘International Experience’. Prior to departure, students from both universities research each company they would visit, doing an analysis of their business model and key success factors for the company as well as an assessment of opportunities and threats in their macro- and competitive environments via Skype and emails.
In addition, this project serves to acquire and apply social and cross-cultural competences in multicultural groups. The students earn a new appreciation of international business through first-hand experience and an insider’s view into the business world.
