nGoals n Provide exposure and opportunity for talented budding professionals

to develop a holistic IT solution n Forum for industry professionals to coach and share knowledge n Increase awareness of IT architecture body of knowledge among

nOrganizing team – Experienced practicing architects from large organizations in Seattle

nOpen to University Students engaged in full time programs -Undergrad as well as graduate students

nTeams of 3 to 5 supported by an industry mentor

nDeliverables are architecture models and supporting documents

nOpportunity to tackle an actual business question

nNetworking and hiring opportunities

nAll will receive a IP waiver document to sign in the next week

nEmail connecting teams to mentor on Tuesday night PST

nFirst milestone – Nov 22nd, 2015n Electronic submissionn This is not a selection round – all teams continue onn No immediate feedback from judges at this stage

MentorsnEach team has been assigned a mentor who willn Help in understanding the problemn Assist in understanding the architecture deliverablesn Provide pointers to additional resources n Be a sounding board for architectural solution ideasn Review and validate deliverablesn Provide guidance in preparing for the final presentation

nThe mentor will NOTn Create artifacts for the teamn Be responsible for any deliverables
