Mrs. McMuitry: 91 Years Young,!
Mrs. Gertrude McMur-try formerly of Crown Point celebrated her 91st birthday at her home in Glens Falls on January 22nd. She wishes to thank all her friends and r e l a t i v e s who sent greetings i also for the telephone calls she received.
Her niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Litchfield of Buckland, Mass. took a chicken dinner complete with a birthday cake to her home for the noon meal. That evening the family gathered for dinner, including her granddaughter, Joan and family came from Albany; her daughters, Mrs. Helen
Groom and Mrs. Gertrude Glebus. Her grandson. S/Sgt. James Glebus surprised her by coming home from the Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mrs. McMurtry had recently been hospitalized but seemed to be enjoying good health and felt that she had an eventful birthday.
