GENERALThe Rondostat is an electronic radiator controller.The radiator valve is actuated via a battery powered motor.In operating mode, the Rondostat alternates between a comforttemperature and an economy temperature according to anadjustable timer program with 28 set points per week (4 individ-ual set points per day).The factory preset of the timer program is:6:00 – 22:00 h = 21°C and 22:00 to 6:00 h = 16°C.The set points for comfort and economy temperature as well asthe time periods are freely adjustable.A hand wheel allows a manual temperature adjustment. Turningthe hand wheel clockwise the temperature range is:

Off, 8 °C...28 °C, On.The open window function closes the valve if the temperaturedrops by 1.5 °C within 3 min. Normal operation is resumed aftera) turning the hand wheel, b) rise of the room temperature or c)after 45 minutes.Self monitoring functions: Protection against lime scale andfrost. A warning is issued if the batteries get flat. Automaticswitch to and from daylight saving time.

The adaption of the Rondostat can be manually triggeredby pressing the middle push button while pushing the con-trol element onto the valve.
