The radiator valve is actuated via a battery powered motor. In operating mode, the Rondostat alternates between a comfort temperature and an economy temperature according to an adjustable timer program with 28 set points per week (4 individ- ual set points per day). The factory preset of the timer program is: 6:00 – 22:00 h = 21°C and 22:00 to 6:00 h = 16°C. The set points for comfort and economy temperature as well as the time periods are freely adjustable. A hand wheel allows a manual temperature adjustment. Turning the hand wheel clockwise the temperature range is: Off, 8 °C...28 °C, On. The open window function closes the valve if the temperature drops by 1.5 °C within 3 min. Normal operation is resumed after a) turning the hand wheel, b) rise of the room temperature or c) after 45 minutes. Self monitoring functions: Protection against lime scale and frost. A warning is issued if the batteries get flat. Automatic switch to and from daylight saving time. FEATURES package includes adapters for most common valves (see adapter table) 2 temperatures settings (for comfort and economy tem- perature) timer function allows different heating periods factory pre set for timer settings free adjustable program heating break function holiday function child lock function window function lime-scale protection: (one full stroke once a week) frost protection manual temperature adjustment via handwheel automatic adaption (may be manually triggerd) SPECIFICATION ADAPTER TABLE Manufacturer Required Adapter (Illustration) Honeywell Braukmann, MNG, Heimeier, Junkers, Landis & Gyr "Duogyr" No adapter required Danfoss RA (supplied) Danfoss RAV (supplied) Danfoss RAVL (supplied) Power supply: 2 batteries Battery types: LR6 AA AM3 (alkali manganese or 1.5 V Accu, or Lithium-battery Battery lifetime: approx. 2 years (9 month for rechargable) Dimensions 95 x 52 x 82 mm Environmental Operating temperature: 0° ... 40° C Humidity: 30% - 95% rh, non condensing Shipping and storage temperature: -20° ... 70° C Protection class: IP30 Interference suppression CE-conform according to EN50081-1 Control procedure PI-algorithm Minimal switching period 10 min Responsiveness 0.1°C Measuring cycle 1 min M28x1.5 and M30x1 valves: e.g. Herz, Oventrop, SAR ...
