HILLEL COOPERMANIntroducing

Legos for grown ups

In this thesis Hillel talks about how something as trivial as a lego block can expand into something much more technical.

What started as a small investment for his kid, turned into a huge addiction for him and his wife.

He pointed out the irony and sarcasam that comes with the idea of playing with legos as a grown up.

Irony and sarcasam

His images highlighted each small topic, the image would pop, then the immediate reference. This was a

great support tool to help us visualize.

Hillel followed commandment IIHe showed us in so many ways that being diferent

can be normal.

Hillel’s presentation was very informative, visual, enthusiastic and fun. This was something that I enjoyed personally.

5 out of 5 Stars!

He was active with the audience and kept their attention throughout!

Personal Preparation

Hillel’s speech came from his own personal life. Which I think helps us retain some level of

passion when speaking about a topic that is close

to heart.

Intro

The opening of this speech was a lot like Sir robinson’s first speech with no visual. He grab the attention of the audience with words.

Sir Robinson’s 2nd video was very visual. He used illustration to aid him in delivering his message. Most people like to see props and or some kind of visual aid when listening to someone's lecture or speech.

My speaker as compared to Sir Robinson was a much more real to life speaker. He wasn’t afraid to present his speech in what honestly felt like standup comedy but was probably the most extreme truth to something that most would normally find funny. Saying to themselves, “ no way this can’t be true.”

Both Sir Ken Robinson and Hillel Cooperman are both extremely well versed speakers both with a keen sense of getting into the audience and grabbing their attention with both words and visuals and delivering a message that is well received.

Here are a few tips for my classmates :

2.) Go with what is comfortable

1.) Be passionate

3.) Use visual aids
