What on Earth is the Church here for?

Matthew 5:14-16

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

What on Earth is the church here for?

Location, Location, Location

• Not physical but spiritual location

• We are a church that stays close to God

Fuel

• Not by strength, nor by might, nor by power, but by his spirit

• John 8 “I am the light of the world, whoever follows me

will not walk in darkness

 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do

nothing.
