VOLUNTEER AT CONVENTION!
The convention fee is regularly $75 for students who are FSCA members
If you volunteer, the fee will be reduced to $50
Volunteering still enables you to attend the workshops because you will be introducing the speaker and collecting evaluations

FSCA’S LEGISLATION PROPOSES…
…every school have at least one full-time school counselor
…ratios on a district-wide basis be 1:300 (currently approximately 1:500)
….specific ratios be no more than elementary - 1:350, middle - 1:300 and high school - 1:250.
…school counselors cannot be assigned to monitor testing, lunch or bus duty nor used as substitute administrators.
