What is ePerformance?

• A University-wide web-based performance management tool designed to

– streamline the performance management process – be fully integrated with core employee data in PeopleSoft

• All employees will be using the same forms, processes and overall ratings across the university– 12,000 Administrative and Professional employees and Staff

(including HUCTW) – 4,000 managers (including Faculty Managers)

Project Guidelines

• Encourage a strong ongoing participation from all the schools and units

• Streamline the process by moving to university-wide forms

• Provide flexibility to the schools whenever possible

• Expose users to the system early and often (Agile-ish methodology)

• Minimize customizations

• Adopt existing and new PeopleSoft functionality

• Follow the existing PeopleSoft release management process

• Respect the business cycle of performance management

• Leverage Harvard’s experience and expertise in training and change

management
