Erebus repre-sents de-ep blackness/dark-ness or shadow, personifica-tion of darkness and shadow, which filled in all the corners and c-rannies of the world.

What is the god's story (short version)? How did they come into being?When the world was first

made, the primordial god, Chaos, gave birth to Erebus, Gaia, and many other gods. Erebus is also represented as the underworld between the earth and Hades.

What is the geneology of the god?

Erebus was born from Chaos himself without any inter-course.

Does the god have any family?Spouses? Children?Erebus married with his sis-ter Nyx, the goddess of night.

His offsprings are Hemera (goddess of day), Aether (god of sky), Cer (god of death), Oneiroi (god of dreams), Hypnos (god of sleep), Thanatos (god of death), Momus (god of criti-cism), Nemesis (goddess of revenge), the Hesperides (guardians of the golden ap-ples), Geras (god of old age), and Charon, the ferryman.

and referred to as Hades itself. While being known as the god of darkness or Hades, there is little else that is really known or said about Erebus. Erebus Was Believed to be Hades. Erebus is often used as a synonym itself for Hades and he is most commonly associated with these tales of darkness and hell.
