The Project

• Students will create a 3-dimensional paper cube illustrating all 14 of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design

Procedures• Introduce the E’s of Art & P’s of Design• Introduce first Project: E’s & P’s Paper Cube• Demonstrate an understanding of these by illustrating

all 14 E’s & P’s on two separate cubes• Begin Preliminary sketches• Finalize sketches with teacher approval• Trace cube template onto heavy white paper• Complete details with colored pencils• Transfer sketches to cube paper• Cut the outside lines, fold the dotted lines & assemble

with glue stick application
