Transcript of Day 3 with Z.E.N. - Linda's Journey

The following pages will reflect my journey with Z.E.N. Foods

I purchased a 7 day weight loss plan at a huge discount from a 1 day internet deal.

I told the representative at Z.E.N. that I didn’t want red meat, bleu cheese or eggplant in any of the meals. He said I should lose 5 pounds this week. Let’s see how this all works out…

My One Week Journey with Z.E.N. foods

I received my food the night before in ice packs. I put everything in the

refrigerator ready for the next day.

My One Week Journey with Z.E.N. foods

BREAKFAST

Apple Yogurt Pancakes with Ricotta Creme and Fresh Apple Compote

(Again with the filling breakfast. It looked so small when I put it on this salad plate. My microwave broke so I had to put it in the toaster over to warm. The house smelled GREAT!...and, no, I didn’t eat the flower!)

Day #3 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition)

LUNCH

Turkey Burger with Roma Tomatoes, Red Onion, Sundried Tomato Aioli and Cucumber Salad

(At first I thought I was going to eat the burger in between the lettuce. Then I just mixed everything together. Delicioso! The burger was juicy and not dried out like most turkey burgers. The Aioli is a perfect

spread/dressing.)

SNACK

Shrimp and White Bean Salad

(I was surprised by how filling this snack was. I’ll have to re-think white beans. Oh, yeah! Real tasty!)

Day #3 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition)

DINNER

Chicken Parmesan with Marinara Sauce, Penne and Yellow Squash

(Personally, this was way more food than I would normally eat. Must have been about 10 ounces of chicken where I usually eat 3 ounces. I couldn’t finish it all, so I saved it for a snack for another time. The penne pasta was a substitute fortheir regularly scheduled eggplant, but, it could have, at least been wheat pasta! All in all, an extremely satisfying meal.

DESSERT

Pineapple Crème with Fresh Fruit

(I wasn’t home in the evening to enjoy this. And it was too late to indulge by the time I did get home. Another “save it for later”!

Day #3 with Z.E.N. (Zero Effort Nutrition)

I am a Realtor in Altadena / Pasadena, California. As my schedule constantly changes on a daily basis, it’s difficult to shop and plan meals. I decided to give Z.E.N. a try to see if I could be more focused mentally and feed my body something nutritious for a change while on the go meeting with clients and fitting in dance classes at the gym.
