Research:
My research interest is related to Human Nutrition and Metabolism with special
focus on metabolic syndrome, including glucose intolerance and diabetes. My
experiences are in the area of:
Metabolic regulation of food intake
Relation between postprandial metabolism and meal patterns
Relation between eating behavior and metabolic syndrome, including diabetes
Micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) and metabolic syndrome
Effect (acute and chronic) of dietary (nutrients) manipulation on the different
components of the metabolic syndrome.
