Phase 1–Program Enrollment

Applying Register & Pay

5 years of experience

Candidates have one year from the date of registration and payment to successfully complete the knowledge exam.

Phase 2-Knowledge Exam Testing150 multiple-choice exam

2 hours & 30 minutes to complete

The Learning Technologies AOE area is comprised of items that are embedded within the other nine AOE areas and; therefore, its weighting is not included

independently.

Phase 3-Work Product Submission

Project completed within the past 5 years

Instructional Design, Training Delivery,

Performance Improvement, and Managing Learning

Programs

Scoring sessions occur

twice a year

Results are sent 6 to 8 weeks after

submission (pass, fail, or disqualified)
