Release Update
• eText v4.5 successfully deployed– Known issues:
• Search highlighting• Swipe and multi-touch gestures for Mac OS 10.7 not supported• Elementary Skin Whiteboard icon• Notes not resizing on zoom
• eText for Android v1.1 in final phase• eText 4.6 underway
– Primarily back-end to support PCL and DL projects– “Federated” HTML version of bookshelf
• eText v4.7 feature set being finalized– Ability to control underline and transparency of hotspots on an individual
basis– Simple quiz functionality

Integration Update

eText Analytics We already can view daily volume and visitor characteristics via Google Analytics *
With v4.5, all eText server events are being logged for analysis/reporting For each event, we capture Username, Book ID, Course ID, IP address, and Time Key server events:
Pages viewed Create/save/share notes, highlights, and bookmarks Search activity e.g. words, phrases Access to rich media via hotspot and custom baskets Glossary term access
Using LTG reporting tools, Business Units can learn: # of times a user entered an eText Length of user stay Page viewing sequence Use of book personalizations Use of interactive elements e.g. pop-ups, rich media assets, documents, etc. Search and glossary access
