CINERARY URN COLLECTION

The tempting force of artistic expression is the turning point in order to evoke the light that filters beyond the last border of existence.

“Valbrenta Italian Design Urns” disrupts the traditional concept of cinerary urns i.e. taking it from the simple place of remembrance to an ideal bridge between the past and the future.

The innovative design of the cinerary urns has been carried out with top-quality wood, metal and Venetian glass all of which has been inspired by the philosophical and religious symbolism together with the unique taste of “Made in Italy”.

“Valbrenta Italian Design Urns” also won first prize in the International Exhibition of Funerary Art in Paris in 2006.Photos of the urns have also been published in the well-known American magazine “The Director” and the urns are also exhibited at the Museum of Funerary Art in Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania as unique pieces of innovative European Design.

At the first TANEXPLORA 2012 Exhibition on Funerary Art in Bologna (Italy), “Valbrenta Italian Design Urns” gained a great reputation and success due to the interest in the artistic value of the cinerary urns. “THE FILTERING LIGHT” project was created in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed artist Antonio Boatto.

It is simply an artistic sign with an intellectual, aesthetic and philosophical glance on the borderline of the unknowable….
