TETRATAB will repair or replace CASEPAD tablets with new or rebuilt parts free of charge in the UK for 2 years from the date of original purchase in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship.

The Limited Standard Warranty is provided under a ‘RETURN TO BASE’ agreement, meaning the customer is responsible for returning the defective device to the TETRATAB Service Centre. The standard delivery period to return the device is two business days after receipt of the device at the TETRATAB Service Centre. The cut off time for SLA measurement is 15:00hrs GMT.

TETRATAB’s Extended Warranty packages for the CASEPAD range provide a choice of either 1, 2 or 3 additional years cover on top of our 2 year Limited Standard Warranty.All CASEPAD tablets come with a 2 Year Limited Standard Warranty. By purchasing an Extended Warranty, CASEPAD tablets in use past the expiration of the original 2 yearStandard Warranty will still be covered for manufacturing defects. This Extended Warranty cover reduces administration, aids budget management and makes it easier for your organisation to keep units in the field longer – thereby fully amortising the initial capital investment. The Extended Warranty program covers all manufacturing defects in the same manner as the Limited Standard Warranty.

TETRATAB also offer ENHANCED WARRANTY packages which provide valuable additional benefits including a Next Business Day On-Site Repair Service, saving you the hassle of shipping your device and ensuring no confidential data leaves your company premises.

New generation Tablet PC’s present new repair challenges for ‘secure data’ users. Specialist customers cannot allow hard drives with security classified information to leave their premises for repair by 3rd parties (e.g. police, fire, health, government, military etc.)

Currently with traditional ‘hard drives’ or plug-in SSD drives, the customer usually removes the drive prior to the device shipping to the warranty repair facility. They then replace hard drives upon return.

New generation tablets including the CASEPAD units have solid state hard drives embedded into the motherboard that cannot be removed by the customer – so in effect a faulty tablet cannot leave customer premises for repair unless the hard drive contents are completely ‘wiped’. This situation applies to all tablets with ‘embedded’ eMMc storage.

The TETRATAB Enhanced Warranty service fully addresses this issue - whereby our technician visits customer premises ‘next business day’ and repairs the device ‘on-site’

For faults involving defective eMMc and / or motherboard the warrantytechnician will swop motherboard and eMMc data storage for a replacement unit and hand the defective motherboard / eMMc back to customer for destruction, thus conforming to their in house security policies.

Enhanced Warranty packages are competitively priced and supported by fully trained and accredited ‘Tier 1’ professionals, thereby ensuring minimal down time of your devices. If we cannot fix the item under the Extended Warranty agreement (i.e. we cannot get parts, or the parts cost is greater than the cost of the device when new) the device will be replaced with a brand new unit of equivalent value.
