Assembly1. Attach the left and right sides to the bottom with three(3) of the screws provided per
side.2. Insert the front behind the bottom flange and attach with three(3) screws down each
side and five(5) across the bottom.3. Set the top on the assembly and attach with four(4) screws on each side and two(2) in
the front.4. Attach the mounting brackets to each side of the box assembly as shown with three(3)
screws per bracket. Don’t tighten the screws completey just yet.Proceed to the following pages for attachment to your furnace.
Attaching the Filter Box to the Furnace
1. Place the Filter Box at the rear of the furnace and route the blower conduit through theslots provided.
2. Attach the box to the furnace’s Cabinets sides using three(3) of the drill point screwsprovided for each side.
3. Make final adjustments to the mounting brackets to insure a proper fit, then tightenthe six(6) screws retaining the brackets to the filter box.
4. After Conduit placement has been determined, install the Conduit Cover over the re-maining conduit slots using two(2) of the screws provided.
5. Install a standard 16 x 20 filter (not included) in the filter slot and cap it with the coverand three(3) screws as shown.
IF OPERATIING THE FURNACE IN A POWER OUTAGE, YOU MUST REMOVE THEFILTER. ONCE POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED, RE-INSTALL THE FILTER AND COVER
FOR NORMAL OPERATION
Use three(3) Drill point Screws provided
Make final adjustments, then tighten
