Who here has TOO much time on their hands?

But how can we possibly know how much you have to do?

Let’s talk about work/life balance (and unicorns and rainbows).

Does anyone here struggle with feeling overwhelmed?

We’ve got a framework to help you get more stuff done by eliminating the most

common things that get in the way…

So, that’s a framework to follow, how about our top 20 productivity tips?

#1 Schedule time every day for the unexpected.

#2 The best productivity tool ever.

#3 Invest in learning how to use your technology

#4 Keep meetings to 15 minutes.

#5 Take the time to do things once.

#6 Work out how much it costs you to use Social Media.

#7 Get really good at using 5 minute increments.

#8 Plan your week, your day, your hour.

#9 Learn to lie.

#10 Make decisions don’t procrastinate.

#11 Stop multitasking.

#12 Record responses and send MP3 files.

#13 Reorganise your workspace.

#14 Turn off all alerts.

#15 Start a “DRIVES ME CRAZY BOARD”

#16 Don’t get guilted into committing on the spot.

#17 Take the time to delegate cleanly.

#18 Don’t confuse distractions with opportunities.

#19 Ask a busy person how they do what they do.

#20 Retrain those around you to help you be more productive.

We’ve adopted these - and so much has changed. Don’t try and introduce them all at once.

- Be curious. - Learn everything about them.

- This takes effort. - Evolve with them.

- Solve their problems. - There is always someone else who wants your

customers.

- This is huge problem and a huge opportunity. - If Google is more helpful than you…

- You have to spend time learning. - Know your competitors.

- Be proud of your products and services.

- Our biggest issue when it comes selling ourselves… - We are terrible at telling stories.

- Our customers want to know more. - They want the real story not the fairytale.

- Get GREAT at this and everything will change.

- The lost art of engagement. - Who the hell listens any more?

- Who can ask a meaningful question? - We need to be empathetic.

- We need to be emotionally smarter.

- For the love of (insert the name of your preferred deity) learn to recommend a product or service.

- Know point having knowledge if you can’t make a recommendation.

- Recommend with absolute integrity.

- This lets more people down than anything else. - Commit right here, right now to be AMAZING at

following up. - What does “I’ll call you back” really mean?

- If you want word of mouth/mouse - this will do it.

- Learn, learn, learn. - Practise selling.

- Talk to other people who sell. - Talk to your team. Be committed.

- Your best ideas for selling, marketing, everything will come from outside of your industry (we spend a

lot of time researching this stuff).

We think it’s time to sell more stuff.

We think it’s time to have more fun.

(said by some really wise old Chinese dude).

Time to bring some personality back into our business

Having fun with our customers?

Having fun with our team?

Keep the WRONG people out of your world, at

any cost or you will pay the price.

Celebrating our successes (and the success of those around us).

And we need to be better people all

round.
