Boston mass Oct the 15 1848Dear sir i write these few lines to let you now that i am well and hope that these few lines will find you the sam i hav not time to write much now you can sea the account of our ship wreck in the paper as i hav not time to write about it i lost one months time by not takeing mymonths ad vance i hav shiped in the barque harward Capt harward Bath bound to mobile or some other southern port and from their she will go where ever she can get freight for we shall sail tomorrow please take care of my clothe for me untill i returni can not tell when that will be, give my love to all the folks Boston mass yours with Respect Florence Jewett
