Basketball. My grandmother.

Nowadays the most part of people all over the world like going in for sports. There are a lot of kinds of sport , for example swimming , athletics, football, hockey, tennis and etc.

But from all types of sport I have chosen basketball. It thanks to my grandmother. Her name is Viktorova Galina. When she was young she worked as a basketball trainer. My granny very often told me about her amicable team, her achievements, prizes, medals, and participations in competitions in different Russian cities. She also showed me photos with her team, trainer and prizes. It has interested me very much and I have decided to start to play basketball.

5 years later, I’ m still engaged in this kind of sport. I’m very grateful to my grandmother, that she has told me about basketball so much. Basketball is a intellectual and team game, which forces quickly move, think and be united during the match. If I don’t play this game, I wouldn’t know, that basketball is a magnificent game, I wouldn’t have sports achievements and awards, I wouldn’t go to sports camps and different Russian cities so often, and the most important – I wouldn’t have the best team in the world without which I don’t imagine my life now!
