+Ok! One more step to find the Brand New Sport.

+How about looking on Indonesia’s local content (traditional game or sport)?

Maybe we can also combine them to create the Brand New Sport!

Some local content as I knew so far ….

+Congklak

Played by 2 persons by filling its hole with some seeds.

The one who get much seeds will be the winner !

I don’t think that this game can be a new brand sport, especially by using only two house hold items.

+Panjang Pinang

Played by so many people, especially when independence day!

Some people call it as a spot and the other one as a game. In my opining, it’s a sport which the orientation is for game

But unfortunately, it’s using so many equipment such as long very tall timber and its prizes on the top. I’m sure that won’t find on our house.

+Balap Egrang

It’s kind of race. Using “egrang” of in english calls stilts.

Played by more than 4 people on the field and ride it into finish line.

But the problem is.. When I looking for some household items to apply on this traditional sport, it’s so hard to find

+Perisai Sesaot/Traditional Fighting Sport

That’s must be crazy man!

Too dangerous. Even I can use frying pan as the shield and soup scoop as the sword, my mom will be angry if those things are broken.

+Pathel lele

This game is so simple. Just throw the short stick away using the long stick.

The longer you throw the short one, you’ll be the winner.

Usually played by kid on the field or street.

Aha! I think there some household can be used to do it! Let’s find it!

+How about using glass and spoon ?

P.S. sorry prof Seelig. I use more than 2 household items here :D. It’s also 2, right? Two type of households

+I call this Brand New Sport as Eureka !Because it can make you shout eureka! While you get the score!

Sport Orientation : Game

Rules and scoring system :

1. Played by two persons.

2. The Arena is 2,5 meters wide and 5 meters long.

3. Don’t throw the spoon outside the line, you get no score.

4. Don’t let the catcher catch the spoon, your role will be changed.

5. Only thrower which can make any score.

6. If you throw the spoon inside 2,5 meters long. You’ll get 1 as your score. If throw outside 2,5 meters long, you’ll get 3. If outside 5 meters, of course you’ll get no score. Still remember rule number 3 right?
