Art Experience

When was the last time you had an art experience?

Take two minutes. Write about your recent art experience. Include the where, when, and possibly why.

It’s all a process. Put art over art. Use overlapping ideas, experimentation, and process-based techniques.

Document everything, take as many photos as you can, and repeat.

Sharing images markets the library in unique, interesting, and meaningful ways. Share images with the public, share images with your co-workers, and snap away.

You know those things you see in museums at the corners, bottoms, and sides of artworks? ose are artwork labels.

Artist’s name, Title, Year.

At the very least, use the artist’s name, title, and the year the work was made. Making artwork labels also encourages you to make a checklist. Organized information management, score!

You can "nd wall molding at Home Depot, Lowe’s or lumber yards. You don’t need to be a carpenter to use this. You might already know a carpenter who works with you.

Post-it notes

Office supplies that are inexpensive and temporary. Re-making a space into something new.

8-bit video game characters

Pixels, post-it notes, and graph paper. Group up, get ready, and up up down down left right left right b a select start.
