OVERVIEW

CHALLENGE

SOLUTION

Different compositions were considered, text was condensed and making my own graphics helped with visual unification.

The project needed to function as a poster and a brochure. The project also needed to cut back on text wherever possible.

Infographics deliver information in a very visual format. This project needed to convey blood donation facts in Australia.

INFOGRAPHIC PROJECT:AUS BLOOD DONATION

OVERVIEW

CHALLENGE

SOLUTION

Soft gradients and re-using photographs helped to maintain the Jorrells brand across digital displays and printed items.

I was designing printed items and digitally displayed items. The designs needed to look like they belonged to the same business.

Jorrells Face | Hair | Body needed Facebook promotional imagery, vouchers and gift certificates developed for their business.

OVERVIEW

CHALLENGE

SOLUTION

I used a specific range of fonts and a set colour scheme to maintain consistency. I also strongly applied content to a custom grid.

The magazine did not have an established art direction. I needed to create a unique grid and develop a strong magazine identity.

The 2015 Spring edition of FHB magazine (Fashion, Health, Business) needed art direction and article layous developed.

MAGAZINE DEVELOPMENT:FHB MAGAZINE

OVERVIEW

CHALLENGE

SOLUTION

The client had a long business name yet wanted a simple, clean design. I had to think about my design decisions carefully.

I used sans serif font and combined the letter ‘A’ with an image of a paint brush. This yielded a strong, clean design.

Adelaide Paitning & Decorating needed an identity which reflected on their services and could be used on marketing material.

BRANDING DEVELOPMENT:ADELAIDE PAINTING & DECORATING

OVERVIEW

CHALLENGE

SOLUTION

Examining existing graphics and analysing real items helped me to develop original icon graphics for On Dit magazine and myself.

Stylised icons represent something real. Stylised shapes have to be considered carefully so the graphic is recognisable.

On Dit magazine needed original icons and graphics to accompany various articles. I also created icons for my own purposes.
