TheTomMinerCreekRoadCapitalImprovementsProjectislocatedapproxi-mately40milesSouthwestofLivingston,MontanainParadiseValley.Thepro-jectworkconsistsofremovalandreplacementofthetwodeterioratingshortspanconcretebridgesoverTomMinerCreekandRockCreek.TheexistingbridgeswillbereplacedwithlongerandwiderGRS-IBSbridges,riprapprotec-tion,andguardrail.TheprojectwillalsoincludesomerehabilitationworkontheCarbellaTrussBridgeconsistingofreplacingtheexistingbridgedeckandrepairingsomeofthetrussmembers.

TheRockCreekbridgehasbeencompletedtothepointitisopenforusebypublictraf ic.Thetemporarytraf icdetourandbridgehavebeenremoved.Pleasedriveslowlythroughthepro-jectareaoverthewintermonthsastheroadwaywillbecompletedin2019.
Theprojectworkisbeingshutdownfortheremainderofthewintermonthsasthefrozengroundandwinterconditionshavepreventedtheremainingearthworkfrombeingcompletedthisyear.TheRockCreekbridgehasbeencompletedtothepointwhereitisopenforpublictraf ic.ThesepasttwoweekstheContractorhasworkedonopeningthenewbridge,buildingthebridgeapproaches,installingguardrail,removingthetemporarybridgeanddetour,andcompletingriprapinstallations.Workwillresumeinthespringof2019onceweatherconditionsallowfortheremainingroadwayworktobecompleted.Itisanticipatedthattherewillonlybeafewweeksofworkin2019inordertocompletetheremainingprojectwork.

The Rock Creek bridge opened for traffic over the winter shutdown. Work will resume to complete the roadway in 2019.
Guardrail being installed along with the tempo-rary bridge re-moved and riprap installed around the bridge abut-ments.
