by Debbie Je EvensI remember going to The Spaghelti

Warehouse in Houston when I was a littlegirl. It was one of my favorite "special oc-casion" restaurants, Today is no different. When my birthday rolled around this month,I couldn't think of a place I'd rather celebratethan The Spaghelti Warehouse. So. I tookmy husband Mike. 10 month old daughterKayla. and our 9-year old neighbor Co llynfor an Italian-style celebration.

We went to The Spaghelti Warehouseon a Wednesday night around 7 p.m. andwere seated promptly. The high chair passedmy "Kayla test" witha wide tray. plastic bib.wet wipe. and crackers.

The Spaghetti Warehouse is in an old.renovated downtown warehouse filled withbeautiful and quaint antiques. From themoment you walk in. you are transportedback in time to the 18th and 19th centuries.Anlique advertisements and other signscover the walls. There's even an old trollevcar which holds several tables. .

The atmospbere at The Spaghelti Ware-house is cheerful and fun. The wait staff isyoung and filled with enthusiasm and hu-mor. Our waiter was prompt and pleasant.joking with the kids and making nice re-marks about the baby.
