Navaratri is traditionally celebrated in honour of Devi, the Divine Mother. Spiritual practices such as homas are conducted to heal the mind and the body, provide solace and usher in peace throughout the world.

In gratitude and reverence to the Divine Mother Sai, do participate in the Navaratri Homa.

In the Presence of the Yajna Purusha Himself, the Maha Rudra Yajna will be performed on four days from the 08th to 11th October 2016. Rudra Homa is performed for universal peace and prosperity.

As the glories of Rudra are chanted from many texts, come and soak yourself in powerful vibrations and divine energies to be filled with renewed vigour and hope.

On this auspicious occasion, the Srishti Shakti is worshipped for nine days with reverence in nine forms- Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayini, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhatri.

* Idols of Shiva, Parvati, Ganesha and Kartikeya made specially for this yajna have been brought from Bengal.

Highlights about the Puja* The idols of Mother Durga, made of river clay, have been specially

brought from a traditional potter's corner at Kumortuli, in northern Kolkata, Bengal.

* Traditional drummers from Bengal, known as Dhakis, will rent the air with festive rhythm and enchanting beats.

* Kumari Puja will be conducted on the Maha Ashtami Day where young, unmarried girls will be worshipped as Mother Durga.
