Wild lions currently exist in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia

Originally found in Europe, Asia and Africa.

These cats have variable color, from yellow-light and dark brown, with the lower parts of the body lighter, tip of tail with a tuft of black hair (that cover a horny spur, to drive away flies) and males with long mane.
