LAYOUT OF FALL JOB FAIR
General Overview of What You Will Do
1) Come to the Volunteer Registration Table to Check-In.
2) Receive Your Assignment.3) Go to Assigned Area.4) When You Have to Leave Check-Out at the
Volunteer Registration Table.5) Fill Out a Short Survey.6) Go About Your Day.
Volunteers from 8:00am – 9:00am
Drape Tables and Help Set-up• Placing Linens & Folders on tables• Set up Registration Tables• Unpack Boxes
Appropriate Attire For Working 8-9am• Polo or button down shirt• Sweater set• Nice Shirt• Jacket• Dress Slacks• Khaki style pants
Volunteering from 9:00am - 11:00am
•Welcome Employers To Ferris•Guide Employers to Registration Table•Help Employers Carry Things In• Set- Up Ewigeblen Lobby Area
Volunteers from 11:00am – 3:00pm• Work at Student Registration Tables.• Assist employers during the lunch session (12:30pm –
1:30pm).• Assist professional staff (distribute water bottles, etc.).• Be Proactive!
Volunteers from 3:00pm – 4:00pm
• Assist with General Take-Down.• Help Load Employers’ Vehicles.• Help Gather Career Services Materials.• General Area Clean-Up.• Removing Draping.

Attire for Men includes: – Suits– Sports coats– Dress pants – Dress shirts w/collars– Dress shoes & socks– Ties– Clean appearance

• Denim clothing of any kind
• Dockers® style pants
• Shorts of any kind or length
• Hats
• Casual shoe styles which includes worn sandals and sneakers.
• Sweatpants or Shirts

includes: • Suits.• Skirts that are no shorter than
2” above the knee.• Dress pants with dress blouses.• 1” heels, no open toes.
Inappropriate Attire for WomenExamples of inappropriate business attire includes: • Anything sleeveless
• Anything that shows cleavage
• Denim clothing of any kind
• Stirrup or spandex pants
• Shorts of any kind or length
• Crop tops
