Mark started his career in healthcare delivery within the U.S. Air Force as a Surgical Technician and Medic until he re-located to Austria. While in Austria, Mark evolved to become an academic researcher, university lecturer and user experience (UX) designer. At one point in his life Mark was a full-time patient, allowing him to re-examine healthcare delivery from a patient's perspective. Mark continuously strives to apply theory into practice while actively engaging in service design and UX research within several major industries, including healthcare.
